It’s all just a big ruse. I’ve never seen one.

Well I’ve never seen you either. You also do not exist.

You don’t exist either.

I exist to tell you that you don’t exist

They’ve all rusted now.

It simultaneously exists and does not exist at the same time.

I went to high school with a guy who had one - red with the GTI-ish wheels and the inline 5. A little shy on the headroom but otherwise a nice ride.

Seems like awkwardly tall Euro wagons with US-sealed beam conversions were pretty prevalent back then

I’ve worked on them. If I ever see a Quantum Syncro wagon, I’m buying it. It’s basically an Audi 4000 Quattro Avant.

I would do unspeakable things to get my hands on a 505.

How old are you?
Cause they might of just rusted away like most cars do in Canada.
I was a kid of the 80s and a 90s teen. I remember them from back then.
Dr.Zoidberg would have a hard time finding any of the cars he posts over here(without importing them).

I am a million years old.
(I grew up in the 2000s, so there were probably still a few when I was a kid, but they were probably at the tail end of their lives)

They’re pretty attainable now, probably $10k could get you a mint turbo one and have it shipped over to NA without a hitch (or with a hitch, if you plan on towing something...)

It has power windows! Rare! Rare! Rare!

I saw one for sale once, but I've never seen one in person. They're from the early watercooled days, which means no one loves them. The only early watercooled stuff that gets some attention is the GTi, and even those are hard to find now

By that logic, the NSX doesn’t exist because i’ve never seen one.

I’ve seen several. Therefore it does exist, and not the Quantum.

I found one once. Had no idea it even existed before that.

Insert obligatory fat joke involving feet or genitals depending on level of maturity. I have seen two in the wild. I know you seek more than anecdotal evidence.

Troll seattle area cl. There is a 505 turbo coupe that pops up every once in a while.

Psh, I have.

The VW Quantum was a Camry compared to the Renault 18i Sportwagon.
Same goes for the Fiat 131 wagon.

I used to see them in Houston in the 80's but none since then. I’ve never saw a wagon or the even more rare coupe, only sedans.

Either way though, gotta love 80s Volvo adverts.

Indeed! Their print ads were completely brilliant then as were their cars. They may not have been the best at anything, but they were the best at everything.

Quantum is an awesome name
